This video documents one of my intimate, private performances

wherein I attempted to learn the lyrics to a popular American

80s tune with a 60s girl group sound, Johnny, Are You Queer? by

Josie Cotton.  Objects in the surrounding domestic environment

function as both the mise-en-scene and the tripod on which the

camera rests. The lyrics are included in the finished video as text

in the lower portion of the screen.
