A Look at a Look at a Look at the West

In the summer of 2007 I drove from Buffalo across the country

to Portland, Oregon. Along the way I asked people if they

would pose for my video camera, all looking towards the west,

as that was the direction I was headed.

I installed the videos on three television monitors placed in

Squeaky Wheel's window on Main Street in downtown Buffalo.

I also created a twelve-minute video about the making of this

installation, called A Look at a Look at a Look at the West.
