Experiments in Immediacy documentation

Experiments in Immediacy was a project that investigated

the concept of immediacy in our mediated saturated world.

Part of the project involved the creation of a monthly video

club, a small group of dear friends who received my latest

video art in the mail each month. My apartment became

The Immediacy Factory, where I churned out two dozen

nicely designed DVDs that included the feature Immediacy

video along with other "failed experiments" from the month.

Distinguishing between finished video material and process

material during this project was often difficult. Here is footage

that shows a session of packaging up the DVDs to be mailed.
