Skills Developed: Animating in Flash including drawing and adding motion, Integrating sound into an animation, Storytelling Software used: Flash, Audacity, possibly others such as Photoshop
Theme: Fictionalizing Your Own Life This broad theme allows you to draw from your own life experiences in order to imagine new and different characters and situations. You can choose to depict yourself, people you know, or you may present fictionalized versions of yourself or others. For example, you may want to base a character loosely on yourself, but give yourself the ability to fly or heal people. You may also choose to depict a situation you've been in, but you'll change the outcome. This assignment should provide you with ample latitude to be creative while still focusing on this theme about the permeable boundaries between autobiography and fiction.
