Project 1: Found Object Digital/Non-Digital Collage

Requirements

Digital Collage:

1. Scan at least ten items into the computer at 150 ppi.

2. Arrange the items in a compelling way and make use of photoshop effects with consideration.

3. Print out an 8x10 or 8.5x11 document at 150 ppi.

Non-Digital Collage:

1. Use these same scanned items to make a collage with adhesives and construction paper.

2. Arrange the items in a compelling way.

3. This collage should be the same size as the Digital, 8x10 or 8.5x11.

Statement:

1. Prepare a short statement to read Thursday morning at our first critique. Why did you

choose the items you choose? Why did you arrange them in such a way? What do these

items remind you of? Who do you think used them before you?
